Licence Terms

These Licence Terms apply to every plugin and theme you buy from GetEasySoft (Alin Ghiorghiu, Kloten, Switzerland), including custom themes made for you.

1. What your licence allows

  • One licence = one website (one domain, including its staging copy). Plugins sold with multi-site plans (for example 5 or 25 sites) may be used on that number of websites.
  • You may use the product for your own website or for one client website you build.
  • You may move the licence to another domain by deactivating it on the old one (in the product settings or in your account).

2. What is not allowed

  • Selling, giving away, sharing or publishing the product, its files or your licence key — also not as part of another theme, plugin, template or website builder.
  • Using one licence on more websites than it covers.
  • Removing or bypassing the licence check, or offering the product as “nulled” or “GPL club” downloads.
  • Using the design, graphics, texts or documentation for another product.

3. Split licence (GPL)

WordPress requires that PHP code working with WordPress is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. The PHP code of our products is therefore GPL. All other parts — CSS, JavaScript, images, icons, fonts we created, the design, texts and documentation — are our property and are licensed to you only under these terms. This is the same “split licence” model used by ThemeForest / Envato Market.

4. Updates and the licence period

  • Every licence includes one year of updates (new versions, security fixes, compatibility with new WordPress versions), delivered in your WordPress dashboard.
  • After the first year you can renew the licence (custom themes: 59 € per year; plugins: the price shown in your account). Renewal is optional.
  • If you do not renew, the product keeps working — you only stop receiving updates and support. You can renew at any time.
  • Updates replace the product files. Changes you made directly in the files are overwritten; use a child theme or the options in the dashboard.

5. Support

  • Custom themes: 6 months of support included, extendable by 6 months at purchase or later from your account.
  • Plugins and ready-made themes: support for as long as your licence is active.
  • Support means: answering questions about the product and its features, fixing bugs, help with the included features and with Site Kit. It does not include customisation, new features, third-party plugins, hosting problems or work on files you or others modified.

6. Modifications

Editing the product files is at your own risk. Modified files are not covered by support or warranty, and updates overwrite them. Site Kit shows a notice when theme files differ from the delivered version.

7. Licence checks

To deliver updates, our products contact our licence server with your licence key, the website address and the product version. No content of your website and no personal data of your visitors is sent.

8. Ending the licence

If you break these terms we may deactivate the licence key; updates and support then stop. Your right to use the GPL-licensed PHP code under the GPL is not affected.
